That Connecticut guy who caught his arm in a boiler and tried to amputate it to free himself is in big trouble. At the insistence of the local chapter of American Physicians Association, the police have arrested him. He is charged with practicing medicine without a degree from a medical college and unlicensed surgery.
The head of the APA said in a statement, “Part of the APA’s mission is to protect the public from quackery and we take that mission very seriously. We have zero tolerance for unlicensed medicine. This arrest will send a strong message to others who think they can play doctor and get away with it.”
